Everything we sell is made to order, so a custom build is not a special category — it is the same rifle with your choices in it. Upper, trigger, barrel, gas system, handguard, furniture, muzzle device and cosmetic engraving.

Content slot — the option catalog (specific barrels, triggers, handguards and finishes with their price deltas) is held in the commerce catalog as product options, not in this page. Rows above name the option groups, not the full pick list.
What you do not choose
A complete build serializes under the standard civilian scheme, ICA-XXXXX. The prefix follows the item type and the channel; it is not a build option, and there is no prefix picker in this flow.
A standalone stripped lower is the one order where an IC-prefixed custom option can be requested from a fixed list.
Cosmetic engraving is a real option — dust cover text, magwell artwork, lower receiver work. We cut it on the same machines that cut our serials.
What it never touches is the serial itself or the ATF markings. Those are ours to apply, to specification.
If you need a state-compliant configuration — a Maryland Redline, for example — we confirm the current spec with you before the build starts. We do not sell a compliance claim we have not verified.
How a build runs
- 01Configure
Pick a line, a tier and your components. Price updates as you go. Save the configuration or send it as a quote request.
- 02We confirm
We check the combination — gas length against barrel, muzzle threading, compliance configuration if one applies — and flag anything that will not work before you pay.
- 03Build
Lower machined, serialized under the standard scheme and engraved. Assembly, headspace, function check and test fire.
- 04Appointment and transfer
Form 4473 and background check at pickup, in person. Lead time is quoted at order confirmation.
